The Questions

This term for storytelling we have started a knew story called The Story Of The Pouakai.
Mrs Wing got us to do some questions for the story to answer with a group of 4.
I did this with Hannah, Willow and Cate.

The Story of the Pouākai
  1. What is the main idea of this story?
  2. Why do you think this story has been told?
  3. Do you think this story is factual or fiction? Why do you think this?
  4. What do you notice about the language that is in this story?

  1. The bird was killing everyone and this guy came along and helped kill the bird.
  2. To pass down an old legend that we can tell our families and friends about.
     3) Our whole group thinks it is non-fiction because it sounds very
true with all the descriptive language.

     4) It’s Te Reo Maori. It is very descriptive and is to the point. It had
lots of great facts and explained a lot about the largest bird in the world.

Finding The Main Idea And Minor Details

This is another activity that we had to do.
I really do not like doing a Screencastify so I already feel proud of myself for doing it.

2 Truths And A Lie

For writing this week to ease back into it, Mrs Wing decided that we would do 2 truths and a lie about our holidays.
Comment what you think it is.
Here are mine.

Tour of Belfast School

On scratch I have been working on a tour of my school.
It gave me quite a challenge though Millie helped me a lot.
After it goes onto map, press the boxes (e.g. 13) then it should show a picture.
Then once you have finished press the back button.
I hope you like it.
